TOMS RIVER -- An investigation into the sale of heroin led to the arrest of a township resident and the seizure of nearly 200 wax folds of heroin and more than $8,000 in cash, police said.
Lascell Campbell, 22, was charged with possession of heroin and possession of heroin with the intent to distribute in connection with the investigation.
Campbell's arrest came after authorities with the Toms River Police Department's Special Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at his Oakhill Drive home on May 4, police said.
At the home, authorities found 190 wax folds of heroin and more than $8,000 in cash, police said.
Campbell was arrested and jailed, police said, but was released after he posted bail. A court date has not yet been set.
