An arrest warrant is out for Kevin Nann, 26, of Toms River, police said.
TOMS RIVER -- Police identified Wednesday the suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery on Tuesday as 26-year-old Kevin Nann.
An arrest warrant is out for Nann, a Toms River resident, and police are asking anyone with information to call 911 or his or her local police department.
Officer Ralph Stocco, spokesman for the Toms River Police Department, said Nann resides on Overlook Drive but also has ties to Anthony Avenue, though it's not clear what the connection is.
Nann's bail will be set at $100,000 once he is arrested, Stocco said.
Toms River police have been investigating a robbery at the Investors Savings bank, located on Fischer Boulevard, since they received a report Tuesday afternoon of a man entering the bank and handing a teller a note demanding money.
The alleged robber then fled the bank with an unspecified amount of cash.
After releasing a surveillance camera photograph of a suspect, police identified Nann after following up on several leads, Stocco said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Toms River police Detective Randy Petrick at 732-349-0150 ext. 1235. Police also encourage people to send them a private message to the Toms River Police Department Facebook page.
The FBI and Ocean County Sheriff's Office's Crime Scene Investigation Unit are assisting in the investigation.
