On the heels of a video showing Trump bragging about groping women with impunity, his running mate has canceled an appearance in New Jersey.
TRENTON -- Donald Trump's running mate, Mike Pence, has canceled his planned visit to New Jersey scheduled for Monday, several GOP sources tell NJ Advance Media.
Pence, the governor of Indiana, was scheduled to appear at a fundraiser in Toms River hosted by the Ocean County Republican Organization. The sources who said Pence won't be showing requested anonymity because they are not directly connected to the Trump campaign.
Entry to the Pence event required a $50 contribution and was limited to 250 people.
The cancellation comes on the heels of an explosive video of Trump boasting of a failed attempt to seduce a married woman and claiming that his celebrity status allowed him to grab women by their genitalia with impunity.

Pence on Saturday released a statement saying that he was "offended" by Trump's words and actions, adding, "I do not condone his remarks and cannot defend them."
On Saturday, House Speaker Paul Ryan canceled what was to be his first joint appearance with Trump at a Wisconsin rally. Trump said Pence would go in his place, but the Indiana governor ultimately skipped that event, too.
The Trump campaign's website lists Pence as scheduled to attend two events in North Carolina on Monday: A lunchtime rally in Charlotte, and an evening event in Fletcher, N.C., near Asheville.
Hope Hicks, a spokeswoman for Trump's campaign, did not immediately return an email from NJ Advance Media seeking comment about why Pence's New Jersey event was canceled, and if Pence planned to attend the scheduled North Carolina events.
