The 45-year-old victim was found in the roadway Sunday morning
TOMS RIVER -- Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead at an intersection Christmas morning.
Officers were sent to Highland Parkway and Herflicker Boulevard around 10:30 a.m. on a report of a person in the roadway, police said.
Keith Elliott, 45, died from injuries "consistent with a vehicle hit-and-run," police said. No hometown was immediately available for the victim, whose next of kin have been notified of his death.
