The 59-year-old from Little Egg Harbor was discovered Sunday morning

The body of a New Jersey man was pulled from a waterway in Massachusetts on Sunday morning, authorities said.

Peter Benya, 59, of Little Egg Harbor was found floating in Saquatucket Harbor off Harwich around 11 a.m., the Cape & Islands District Attorneys Office said in a statement

His death is not considered suspicious, according to officials.

The Massachusetts Chief Medical Examiner's Office is investigating Benya's death.

The prosecutor's office didn't disclose any other information.

In 2010, PressofAtlanticCity.com published a feature about Benya, a commercial scallop fisherman. Benya and and one crew member operated a 45-foot boat out of Lighthouse Marina in Barnegat Light.
