Snooki, JWoww and pals coming soon to the E! channel. "Reunion Road Trip" reunites the cast of "Jersey Shore" for the first time in years

The "Jersey Shore" reunion, which was shot in Point Pleasant Beach and Asbury Park earlier this summer, will air Aug. 20 at on E!, according to an Instagram video posted by Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi Friday morning.
The reunion of "Jersey Shore" cast members, who starred in the MTV reality show in 2009 will serve as the pilot in a "Reunion Road Trip" series on E!. The Hollywood Reporter says the series "will capture an epic show reunion as the cast drives down memory lane, making familiar stops along the way -- sharing stories, revisiting hot spots and catching up on each other's current lives."
Filming locations back in June included a "low-key dinner" at Jenkinson's Pavilion Restaurant and boardwalk games in Point Pleasant Beach and the Asbury Park beach and boardwalk.
A permit to film in Seaside Heights, where the hit series was originally based, was reportedly denied, Borough Administrator Christopher Vaz told APP.com.
Similarly, filming was denied at a restaurant in Asbury Park.
"Bring those meatheads to the Langosta Lounge? No way," said Peter Mantas, entertainment director for the Langosta Lounge to the Asbury Park Press.
