WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- New Jersey's Holbrook Little League, from Jackson, N.J., faced New England's Fairfield American Little League, from Fairfield, Connecticut, in the first round of pool play at the 2017 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa., on Thursday, August 17, 2017 (8/17/17).
New Jersey, despite a four-run rally in the bottom of the sixth inning (the last inning in a Little League game), New Jersey fell, 7-6.
