BERKELEY -- A Wall Township woman was arrested last month after she kicked a police officer in the groin area and then spit on three patrolmen, police said on Tuesday.
On Aug. 22, at around 11:30 p.m., Diane Quirk, 57, was charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer after police say she kicked a patrolman in the head and then in the groin area during an arrest.
Police said she also spit on three police officers during the arrest.
Along with the aggravated assault charge, Quirk was charged with DWI, police said. She was transported to Community Medical Center in Toms River for an evaluation.
