Authorities say three people ran from the Pink store in the Ocean County Mall in Toms River after being confronted about shoplifting.
Please help us identify these three shopliftersOn January 25th at 1pm three people were observed by store employees of Pink in the Ocean County Mall shoplifting merchandise. The employee approached them as they were actively concealing merchandise in shopping bags. All three then fled the store without paying at the register. They left the mall and entered a grey Audi.The male suspect was a mid-30's African American 5'11" and weighing 240 pounds. The two females were also African American 5'6" tall and 130 pounds. One is in her early 20's and the other is in her early 30's.The value of the merchandise was in excess of $600. TOMS RIVER -- Toms River police are looking for three people who stole more than $600 worth of items from a clothing store in the Ocean County Mall.
The suspects - two women and a man in their 20s or 30s - were in the Pink store around 1 p.m. on Jan. 25 when employees saw them stuff items into shopping bags without buying them, said Ralph Stocco, spokesman for the Toms River Police Department.
When an employee approached them, they ran from the store and the mall and got into a gray Audi, he said.
The man was described as being in his 30s, about 5-foot-11 and weighing about 140 pounds. One of the women was described as being 5-foot-6 and weighing about 130 pounds, he said.
Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call Toms River Detective Steven Bucci at 732-349-0150, ext. 1300.
