Are you prepared for what will pass? Positively plenty of spit. Watch video

"Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon has revisited his alliterative, spray-happy "Point Pleasant Police Department" sketch, this time with actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

It's a concept Fallon has showcased on other occasions, with Bill Hader, and, before that, Alec Baldwin

Gyllenhaal, who appeared on the show Monday night, plays an officer named Parker and Fallon an officer named Pete in a TV procedural called "Point Pleasant Police Department." The joke -- there is only one -- is that they emphasize "P" words to the extent that they can spray food and drink at one another while saying them.

Coffee, saltines, piece of apple and globs of pumpkin pie go flying as Fallon and Gyllenhaal over-pronounce words like "Prosecco," "caPiche" and "Punk."

At the end, they forgo dialogue altogether in favor of spraying food and saliva all over each other.

Positively prodigious!
