Rainbow photos were popping up on Twitter and Facebook after thunderstorms moved out of New Jersey and Philadelphia.
Dark, threatening storm clouds drifted across New Jersey late Tuesday afternoon into the early evening, lighting up the sky with bolts of lightning and dropping pockets of heavy rain and small hail over parts of the region.
But when the clouds moved out, and the sun reflected off the remaining moisture in the sky, some colorful rainbows formed above the Garden State and eastern Pennsylvania.
Luckily for those who missed the treat from Mother Nature, lots of social media enthusiasts posted photos on Twitter and Facebook.
